“pare” fishing is a traditional coastal fishing method where the ready net is collected in a semicircle at a certain distance from the shore and at a depth of 14 meters and after fishing with the help of manpower and tractors.
in recent years, due to the changing Caspian water ecosystem and industrial plants, fish catch rates have dropped significantly.
about 1,100 fishermen live in the three northern provinces of Iran through from fishing.
despite the smuggle fishermen, fishermen’s tours don’t have much catch.
